My husband and I lost my service girl about 2 years ago. She was a Yorkipoo and the light of our lives. We wanted to wait until we moved and were settled in our new home before getting our new precious pooch. We are now settled in our home on 3 acres of land in Days Creek, OR.  We have a beautiful large fenced in area that is full of fruit trees and garden. We also plan on improving our land further to include another 1/4 to 1/2 acre of fenced area of orchard and more garden. We live on a country road in the country so it is very quiet and we are a non smoking, calm couple who are content with staying at home and gardening, going to church and loving on our new fur baby.  My husband and I are both 72 and still active and very healthy. We love to go on walks and go camping. Because our Zoey was a service dog she was able to go everywhere we went. We are retired and stay at home most of the time. Our new love would be able to curl up on either of our laps but mostly mine because I sit often and she would only be left alone while we were at church. I was  I am willing to fly out or we would drive with our camper, whatever would be best should we be chosen to find our new forever friend.
PS. Our baby would not have to be my service dog ‍ however it is a great advantage to have her properly trained so that she could be. Therefore we could take her in absolutely everywhere, church included.
We weren’t sure we wanted to get a puppy only because we didn’t want to pass on down the road w/o having a plan for our baby so I contacted our daughter if she would raise it should that occur. She said absolutely.

Thank you for reading this. If you have any questions or would like referrals from pet owners that I dog sit  for and vet references etc., please feel free to ask. Our contact # is

I have studied dog nutrition, groom my dogs and have done some obedience training for our last dog.

    Sincerely,
    Lee Mills
