I am looking to find a home or rescue for a pit i have. We found him on the side of the road and cant keep him. He has lots of scars but doesnt seem to be at all aggressive towards us or the other dogs. Very stuck on what to do with him, and dont want to send him to shelter. If you might be interested please email me and i can tell you more and send you pictures of him.
    Thank you

Hey Sara, I hope this message finds you well. I just wanted to let you know that Junebug passed June 8th, 2015 at the age of 11 years old. She was a great family member,, and will be missed. Dawn

My elderly neighbor rents a room to a young man and his pit bull. He has abandoned his obligation to his rent and he abandoned his dog leaving it in the room. My neighbor has not heard from the tenant in several weeks. The room was cleaned out with nothing in it but the poor dog. She has called several rescue groups to take the dog but has not had any success. We neighbors want to help her as she is too frail to be walking a strong dog pulling on the leash. She has all she can do to take him out in the yard for his needs. I have bought dog food and treats as she is in no position to take on this cost. It is truly a sad case. We are going on line to look for a good shelter or pit bull rescue to take the dog. Unfortunately no one in the neighborhood will take the dog. She is stuck and she will not abandon it like the tenant. She needs help to find a home or rescue group. The dog looks young and thin. Cute brindle and extremely excited and eager to play. Unfortunately she can just leave him in the room for long hours of the day. I am begging someone to help her. Is there anything your rescue can do. Here is the weekend and she was hoping it would be the last weekend she would have this burden. She will not turn it over to the County Dog Pound. Nor just any shelter. She is doing the best she can. We will also continue to buy the food and take him for a walk once in a while. Please help. Thank you
