    My Daughters post.

‘My boyfriend found two of the sweetest girls dumped on the side of the highway in California about a month ago, while he has been out there for work for the past month. He found them on the way up to his Mother’s house in Auburn leaving Los Angels. Both of them spent a weekend with his niece, nephew, and sister, and they are both the sweetest girls and are great with kids. You can tell they have not been socialized, but we are confident that with a some training and love, they can really be wonderful dogs. We had a plan in place, and a “Rescue” in Massachusetts was supposed to take in both of the sisters, and we made plans for a transport service to take them out there. The lady waited until the very last minute YESTERDAY (the day they were supposed to be transported) to tell us she couldn’t take in the dogs. We had a transport service in place, and I worked really hard to make sure these girls were going to be safe. They have been at a kennel where they were supposed to be picked up, and now we have nowhere for them to go. My boyfriend is supposed to be coming home tomorrow from California after being out there for work for the month. He has his flight booked, but now might have to change plans and drive them to another state to make sure they are safe, as he doesn’t want to just leave them out there. The two sisters are very attached to each other, so originally we didn’t want to separate them, but now need to find foster care for two dogs which is hard enough. We can keep one dog, but we cannot keep two dogs (rental property rules). The shelters in California are so over populated we don’t want to just leave them out there to die. I have reached out to every rescue group in California, and have reached out to different states, and have had no luck. I don’t know what to do. The transporter we have been working with is going to be making another trip out east in a few weeks, and said he could make a trip down to Florida. But, we are running out of funds to keep them at the kennel, and since the “rescue” in Massachusetts was supposed to pay for those fees, we are really stuck. My boyfriend John has taken them to the vet, and they are happy and healthy and up to date on their shots. He also got them spayed. We really need help, and are running out of options. We need to find a foster for both dogs, or for one dog, and are running out of time. Could you please let me know if you can help in any way, or lead me in the right direction as to who to contact. Thank you so much for your time.’
