   We lost our rescue dog to cancer last Thanksgiving. We were told that she was a cocker/basset hound mix, but, she was too small to fit that category. Others including Vets and owners of Cavaliers thought she was at least part King Charles. She had the most wanting eyes, always wanted to snuggle, was the most tender animal and became my best friend despite my love of my 4 great danes over 20 years. My wife used to groom her every night and of course the occasional bath which Gigi hated and just about treat the dog as her daughter. She was loved by all the grandchildren.
   We would like to adopt a dog with these traits, even two if they are together. We will provide a loving home with daily walks on the beach.

   Can you please tell me about the dog pictured -a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel? How old and what is the personality like.
