   I just wanted to say Thank you! In 2007, I adopted Duckie, a 5 month old, male dachshund, from your organization. We changed his name to Lucky and he was immediately the light in my life. His goofy grins and the way his whole body wiggled when he was happy was just infectious. And he was a talker…letting me know when it was dinner time and bedtime, as well as letting everyone in the neighborhood know he was on guard. He went through a lot in his life, back surgery and seizures, but still remained the happiest dog I ever had. Sadly, today, Lucky went to the Rainbow Bridge. I was with him to the end and he knew he was “my favorite” because I told him that everyday. Having him in my life was one of my greatest joys and I will feel his loss for a very long time. Right now, I grieve, but I look forward to the day when I see his goofy grin and happy butt wiggles again…at the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you for letting me share his light and his life.
