Is this dog (the one in the picture above) available for adoption? How old, what gender, what’s the history of the dog? I’m looking for one about that size, a young adult, relatively calm and happy. I live in Bloomington.
Hi there,
We are looking for a dog for our very timid, 10 year old son. He has been begging for a dog for years. We had to wait until my elderly kitty moved on to kitty heaven, which has happened.
My son and I recently started volunteering at the Indianapolis Humane Society, which is when I realized that big, jumping dogs who bark a lot frighten him.
Alexander (our son) is very bright and super sweet. He is an only child, and really would benefit from a forever friend! His dad and I both love dogs, too.
I think any very mellow dog would do well with Alexander, or a smaller one. We live in a townhouse, so we don’t have a fenced yard. We do have quite a bit of walking or play area, though…. It’s just not fenced.
When I saw your ad for a Shitsu, I wanted to inquire, and when I saw Companion Dogs, my ears perked up. I have never thought of companion dogs needing adoption, but such a dog might be a perfect fit for us!
If you could kindly let me know what dogs you currently have available, along with their rehoming fees, I would greatly appreciate it.
