I have a lab mix puppy (about 11 months old) I adopted from Memphis Animal Shelter in early September. I got her to do pet-assisted therapy work, and she is currently learning good manners to do that, but she has started climbing my chain link fence. I electrified the fence, but it hasn’t phased her so I’ve been keeping her crated in the house during the day when I’m not home. Last night she figured out how to get the crate open. I tied it together with pieces of a clothes hangar, but I am going to have to find her a home with a tall wood fenced yard. She is a great dog, but I can’t keep her confined, and I don’t want her to get out and run loose. Please give me any suggestions you might have. I will not take her back to the animal shelter so she is going to need to go to a rescue group. Help!!! Rosie is a great pet, but she is a wandering soul.
